...: Crackle Glass Bottle Tutorial ~ Part Two :...

To put some goodies inside your bottle (like jellybeans or a drinking straw), create a new layer between Layer 1 and Copy of Layer 1 and pile 'em in!

You can cut the top of the bottle off and fashion a cork to keep the coloured balls out... lol! Again, create a new layer between Layer 1 and Copy of Layer 1 to do this.

This is another bottle entirely... a slightly different size... notice the crackle pattern is quite different.

The opacity slider for the Copy Of Layer 1 layer was brought way down in this one. If there is nothing in the bottle, that works fine... but if you put something inside, it looks more realistic if the layers are darker.

Another way to finish the top. I selected the top portion of the bottle and gave it some PSP sculpture and a soft, rounded inner bevel. I also pulled out a bit of the "lip" using the deformation tool.

The holly is just to give an idea of the transparency... I'm not still in Christmas mode... honest! lol!

These bottles can also be tweaked to show up quite nicely on a black background.

With this graphic, I did a Color|Negative Image on both Layer 1 and Copy of Layer 1 and then adjusted the layer opacities of both.

Thanks so much for hangin' in! I hope some of you will find this tutorial useful. If there is anything that doesn't make sense, please let me know! :)
